We provide information that explains the engagement experience, prerequisites, and scheduling best practices. Then when you are ready, we’ll migrate your data, monitor your migration, troubleshoot issues, and share status and results.

Your organization’s responsibilities

Your organization, or a partner working on your behalf, will set up and configure the source and target environment, provide a schedule of users for migration, implement change management and user communication. After we migrate your data, you’ll conduct post-migration validation.

FastTrack migration process

There are five steps in the FastTrack migration process, and you’ll receive guidance throughout the entire journey.

Step 1: Plan migration

Plan your migration by learning about prerequisites, the scheduling process, security and privacy considerations, and technical architecture.

Step 2: Create a new project

Projects enable you to easily reference configuration steps, see upcoming migration events, and manage schedules.

Step 3: Schedule one or more events

Define the date and time when specific mailboxes or drives will migrate and forward schedule your migration.

Step 4: Monitor progress

Migration specialists monitor your project and are available 24/7 to answer questions.

Step 5: Report

See migration results and data visualizations detailing scheduled events, success metrics, and percent complete.
