Newlyweds Alice and Hugo are home from an extended honeymoon with an extra package. Of course, it's up to Geraldine to break the news to Alice, who is blissfully unaware that she is pregnant and not simply putting on weight. Meanwhile, life in the village of Dibley is full of fun and festivities, and there is plenty to occupy the Vicar of Dibley. There's the nativity play to organise, a christening, and - perhaps most importantly of all - a campaign to save Dibley from the flood.
