We’re very happy to announce that the preview of the first PowerApps analytics report is now available for app authors in web.powerapps.com; the App usage report. This report gives you the ability to track how many users are using your app over the past 30 days broken down by day, device platform and location.
How do I get access to the preview App usage report?
This report is available to any user with ‘Can edit’ permission to the app, but the user must have a PowerApps Plan 2 or PowerApps Plan 2 trial license in order to access the report.
NOTE: While the report is in preview, any user with a valid PowerApps license will be able to access and try out the report
Where do I find the App usage report?
You can view the App usage report for an app via the following steps:
- Go to web.powerapps.com
- Select Apps from the left navigation bar
- Select Analytics (preview) for the app
Can I download the report?
Yes, you are able to download a .csv file with the data for any chart in the App usage report via the following steps:
- Select the ellipses in the top right corner of the chart
- Select Export data
Are there going to be any other reports?
Yes! In fact we are planning to develop similar reports around app performance and error reporting.
