Reduced audit time by more than 75%
As one of the fastest-growing global online and retail betting companies, Superbet faced a perfect storm of challenges. With more than 1,200 shops across multiple countries and tens of thousands of financial transactions daily, the company was rapidly evolving from a midsized operation into a multinational enterprise. This fast growth brought with it a surge in regulatory scrutiny, audit complexity, and operational inefficiencies.
“We were becoming a multinational corporation, with each country using its own separate accounting software,” explains Danijela Pervan, Finance Director for Happening, a division of Superbet. “These systems were not communicating, and we were not getting the consolidation, transparency, and visibility we needed.”
Adding to the complexity, the company’s compliance team was overwhelmed by IT audit demands. “We are constantly getting questions from external auditors about who was able to access very sensitive financial data inside our ERP platform,” explains Marijan Sivric, Business Applications Technical Consultant at Happening.
Superbet needed a solution that could unify its financial systems, streamline user access, and scale with its aggressive expansion strategy—while maintaining airtight compliance.
Superbet selected Microsoft as its strategic technology collaborator, implementing a suite of solutions that include Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Power Platform, and Microsoft Fabric.
“Dynamics 365 Finance provided us with transparency, standardization, and global chart of accounts consolidation principles,” says Pervan. Using the platform, Superbet was able to centralize financial data, reduce manual processes, and support local compliance while enabling global oversight.

To address audit and access management challenges, Sivric led the development of a streamlined user access system using Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, and SharePoint. “We created 100% custom Superbet user roles, reducing the number of roles by nearly 77%,” he says. This not only simplified access control but offered Superbet improved audit readiness. The company also uses Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management—synchronized with Superbet’s inventory system, built on Power Platform—to efficiently maintain and track goods across the company’s extensive network of retail betting shops. This helps ensure accuracy and real-time visibility throughout the supply chain.
With hundreds of users and its technology backbone delivering on its objectives with enterprise-grade security, Superbet is confidently marketing its expansion into additional countries.

Fabric became a cornerstone of Superbet’s data strategy, with Sivric enthusiastically embracing it. “Fabric has transformed the way we work with data, increasing transparency and insights for greater flexibility. For example, we can do all kinds of magic using Python, PySpark, Power BI, and SQL Database.”

Unified Support from Microsoft helped ensure smooth implementation and guided the team to avoid missteps. “We received huge help from Microsoft through Unified Support. We saved a lot of time and avoided going in the wrong direction,” Sivric says.
The results were transformative. “We reduced the time spent on audits by more than 75%, freeing up resources for innovation and strategic work,” says Sivric. He adds that license cost savings reached nearly $70,000 annually, and user management time dropped from over an hour per day to just a few minutes.

Superbet is now poised for continued innovation. The company is exploring Copilot and agent adoption, expanding Fabric usage. “We’re planning to expand with EPM tools and continue BI development—Dynamics is the foundation,” says Pervan.
