Add-in apps and solutions
Dynamics 365 includes a wealth of add-ins, including first-party and preferred solutions and other add-in apps, that you can install to add new capabilities to the system. You can download these add-ins and solutions from AppSource.
Customizers and developers
If you’re a customizer or developer, there’s a single page, Integrate, customize, develop, that describes everything you can do with the Dynamics 365 platform, whether you’re using the Customer Engagement (CRM) apps, Dynamics 365 for Financials Business edition, or Unified Operations apps.
Other docs.microsoft.com goodies
The docs.microsoft.com site also provides additional benefits:
- Scoped search. Search is automatically scoped to the page you’re on, which makes it much easier to find the specific content you’re looking for. If you want to do a broader search, just click the close box in scoped search.
- Table of Contents and mini Table of Contents. Use the Table of Contents on the left side of any page to find a specific page within a content set. You can also use the filter control within a Table of Contents to quickly find information.
Use the mini TOC on the right side of the page to scan the headings within a page.
- Download PDF files. Click Download PDF at the bottom of a TOC to get a downloadable PDF for all the content within that TOC.
Note: Not all Customer Engagement content sets will have a downloadable PDF initially, but we’ll add them as we migrate the rest of our content to docs.microsoft.com. - Click the Comments button in the upper-right side of any page to share any insights about that page, or to add a side note for in-line comments.
- Share pages. Click the Share button in the upper-right side of any page to quickly share a page on Facebook or Twitter.
- Access other Microsoft documentation sites. Quickly hop to other documentation sites from any docs.microsoft.com site. For example, access Microsoft Azure or Visual Studio content. To see all the sites available, start at https://docs.microsoft.com/.
