FAST

FAST is a system of tools, components, and utilities used together or a la carte to build enterprise-grade websites and applications. This team is also responsible for acquiring content from SharePoint, ODB and ODC with good freshness, high completeness and the appropriate feature set to serve all experiences and analyses in a performant, compliant and secure way.

Identity

Comprises of several teams responsible for providing tools for authentication and authorization by representing the core models behind the application and service principal entities which are the core of a service's identity. The tools also provision user identities and roles in the cloud (SaaS) applications that users need access to.

In addition to creating user identities, automatic provisioning includes the maintenance and removal of user identities as status or roles change.

M365 Core

M365 Core is a flexible digital organization that is connected, collaborative, caring and customer-centric where every person can do their best work. This unit is responsible for Microsoft Search, Microsoft/Cortana Assistant and Substrate Intelligence. They also take care of Graph API's Developer experience by creating tooling, documentation and facilitating developer events to create awareness on the API.

MARI

The Microsoft Africa Research Institute is a new research institute located in Nairobi, Kenya. Our mission is to understand, build and deploy innovative cloud and AI technologies which not only address core opportunities in Africa and help to solve local challenges at scale but which will create a more productive future globally.

Our portfolio spans Cloud Edge Stack, Azure Engineering Systems, Azure Media Services and Microsoft’s Operating Systems including the Azure Host OS and Windows.

At ADC we are proud to host two special teams; Devices and Platform’s Windows Admin Center (DPLAT WAC) and the Azure Host Updates Technologies (AHUTS) Teams

C+E Management

Our mission is to engineer and deliver advanced security services to our customers. We will be obsessed about our customers, both internal and external. Flexible, allowing resources to shift on surge projects as needed through ruthless prioritization. Yet predictable, with a focus on service delivery and engineering systems integration.

Cloud Security CxE

The Cloud Security Customer Experience Engineering (CxE) team consists of several product-focused engineering teams who assist customers to be more secure and propel wide-scale usage of our Azure security products and services.

The CxE team engages customers and works with the field to drive adoption and usage of Cloud Security products, gathers product feedback and feature requests and provides it to Product Groups to improve product and customer experience.
