Submit your research: BlueHat 2026 Call for Papers is open

The next BlueHat Conference will take place May 5 - 6, 2026, on Microsoft’s Redmond campus in Washington State, USA. The Call for Papers (CFP) is now open and closes February 28, 2026.

The BlueHat community brings together security researchers and responders from inside and outside Microsoft to share ideas, experiences, and lessons learned, helping create a safer, more secure world for all.

Now in its 21st year, the two-day BlueHat Conference provides a forum to showcase thought leadership across vulnerability research and mitigation, emerging security threats and techniques, and actionable insights for the broader security community.

The Call for Papers is open to everyone, and we encourage everyone in the security community (yes you!) to submit. If you’ve previously shared research with MSRC and all issues have been fully resolved, consider turning that work into a paper. Strong submissions often include:

·       How you identified the issue

·       Techniques you explored

·       What worked and what didn’t

·       Lessons others can apply in their own work

BlueHat prioritizes submissions that are new, unique, and relevant to the BlueHat audience. Preference is given to work that has not been previously presented, or that has been meaningfully updated and expanded upon for BlueHat.

For inspiration, you can explore session recordings from prior BlueHat events, listen to past episodes of The BlueHat Podcast, or revisit this Experts Forum conversation with Lee Holmes, Marissa Quebbeman, Raul Rojas, and Roberto Rodriguez.

More details, including registration information, keynotes, and additional announcements, will be shared soon. Follow @MSFTBlueHat on X (formerly Twitter) and Microsoft Security Response Center on LinkedIn for updates, and use #BlueHat to join the conversation.
