Bittersweet comedy starring Nick Frost and Oliva Coleman as a 1960s couple in crisis. It’s December 1969 and Jeremy Sloane is at the end of his rope – literally. He’s been sacked from his accounting job, his wife Janet has left him to “find herself,” and he is beginning to despair of his lot in life. Most evenings are now spent down the pub, drowning his sorrows with childhood mates Ross, Reggie and Beans.
