Armand and Albert, a middle-aged, flamboyant gay couple, own a drag club in the community of South Beach, Florida, where they have raised a son. The son is engaged to the daughter of a right-wing U.S. senator, and wants to bring his fiancée and her ultraconservative parents home to meet his family. Armand (the “husband”) and Albert (in drag) attempt to play out the roles of your typical heterosexual couple. Based on the hilarious French farce “La Cage Aux Folles.”
