This plan allows building apps and testing them. When you need to deploy apps in production environments, your users will need Power Apps Premium plan (or Pay-as-you-go alternative) to run the apps.
Building apps is not charged, but using them requires paid licenses. - The Power Apps Premium plan is designed for organizations that want a single license for each user with full access to build and run unlimited apps.
With this plan, users can use unlimited apps that connect to varying data sources, including premium connectors. This plan is ideal for organizations looking for a platform solution for running their business apps—one license to run any app you build on Power Apps. - There is no technical limit to the number of users you can add to a Power Apps environment. Organizations can scale to thousands of makers, tens of thousands of apps, and hundreds of thousands of app users.
- There is no limit to the number of apps you can build using Power Apps. Users with a Premium license can create and run unlimited applications.
Makers with Developer Plan can build unlimited number of applications in their environments as well. - Power Apps uses Microsoft Dataverse to securely store and manage data.
Dataverse comes with enterprise-grade security, compliance, governance, role-based access control, rich data types, relationships, business logic capabilities, and seamless integration with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and Dynamics 365.
Dataverse capacity is included with Premium licenses and offers superior reliability for production-grade applications.
Your apps can access data in Dataverse but also connect to your other data sources via standard, premium and custom connectors. You can build apps over any of your enterprise data. - Organizations that need additional Dataverse storage can purchase capacity add-ons. There are three storage types:
- Database capacity
- File capacity
- Log capacity
Add-ons are available per GB and apply at the tenant level. Storage is pooled and consumed by apps, flows, and solutions across environments.
Dataverse capacity requirements scale based on the complexity and volume of your applications. - Yes. Power Apps provides many ready-to-use templates—both canvas and model-driven—to help you quickly build solutions.
