How to upgrade your Visual Studio 2005 Trial version
All customers
If you purchase a retail box, you can upgrade from your trial without uninstalling by using the product key provided.
Visual Studio Team Suite customers
If you purchase through Volume Licensing you should contact your local Microsoft Customer Services centre to obtain a product key which will enable you to upgrade without uninstalling.
SQL and Visual Studio Professional customers
If you purchase through Volume Licensing you will have to uninstall the trial and then install the full product to upgrade.
