Technology can provide a significant advantage to physicians and group providers, including:
Finding the solution that meets the requirements of your practice can be challenging, because your needs vary according to your specialty, the size of your practice, and your practice pattern. But the right electronic medical records (EMR) solution can provide you with tools you can use to help you improve both patient outcomes and your ability to deliver efficient, quality care.
As you make decisions about purchasing an EMR solution, consider the stimulus incentives provided through the ARRA. The ARRA includes approximately $19 billion for Medicare and Medicaid incentives to assist providers in adopting healthcare technology. The Medicare/Medicaid incentive within the law provides $44,000 or more per medical professional. Beginning in 2011, this incentive money will flow directly to eligible professionals who demonstrate meaningful use* of certified* electronic medical records technology.
*The Office of the National Coordinator will determine the definitions of meaningful use and certified by December 31, 2009

Clinical dashboards that consolidate information for the provider, including messages, test results, and patient records.
Template editor tools to help you create custom progress notes templates.
