Gabriele Goletto
Gabriele Goletto

Gabriele is a scientist in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG).

He joined the Microsoft Spatial AI Lab Zurich in June, 2025, and is working on video understanding for different applications.

Prior to joining Microsoft, he completed his Ph.D. at the Polytechnic University of Turin in the Visual and Multimodal Applied Learning Lab (VANDAL) group under the supervision of Barbara Caputo and co-supervision of Dima Damen (University of Bristol).  His thesis aimed to address the deployment challenges of egocentric video understanding models.

Outside of work, Gabriele enjoys spending time in the mountains climbing, skiing, and trail running.
