Matt Galloway

Matt Galloway is a software engineer in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG) developing user-experience prototypes that highlight unique capabilities of Surface devices.

Before joining ASG he worked on several teams within Microsoft including Mobile Data Labs, Office Identity and the Emerging Devices team.  Before Microsoft Matt developed insurance compliance solutions for over a decade before becoming a freelance iOS developer working for clients ranging from regional dry cleaners to global energy companies. 

He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Oklahoma State University.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys playing drums in the Seattle-based band the Brooders, sailing in the Puget Sound with his family, sewing, and long walks on the beach.
