Nikola Milosavljević

Nikola Milosavljević is a senior software engineer in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG).  He is based in Belgrade, Serbia, and works on A.I. features for Windows.

Before joining ASG, Nikola joined Microsoft in 2012 and has since worked on face tracking for webcam and HoloLens, environment understanding for HoloLens, and an OCR library using pre deep-learning technology.  Before Microsoft, he worked as a researcher in academia for three years.

Nikola holds a B.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of Belgrade (2002), a master's and Ph.D. in computer science (wireless sensor networks) from Stanford University (2009).

In his free time, he likes to read Twitter/X, enjoy coffee shops (often both at the same time), and occasionally travel to not-too-exotic places.
