Sepide Movaghati

Sepide Movaghati is a principal software engineer in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG).

Sepide completed her undergraduate studies in electrical engineering, where she got interested in the application of electronics and signal processing in the medical field.  She then perused her master’s degree in biomedical engineering at McGill University where she did a lot of brain-signal processing and image-processing to study visual perception in humans.

She started her software-development career developing algorithms for brain-image processing in the medical-device industry.  She then moved to developing cloud-based applications for the life-sciences industry.

Outside of work, Sepide enjoys reading novels, watching plays, and playing with her puppy.
