Xianghang Liu is a senior applied scientist in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG).

He holds a Ph.D. in machine learning from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Before joing ASG, Xianghang worked at Roku Cambridge, focusing on the application of large language models (LLM’s) and multimodal models in advertising and recommendation systems.  Before that, he worked as a research scientist at Huawei, and as a machine-learning engineer at Meta.

In his free time, Xianghang enjoys table tennis and playing video games.
