Zhen Tong

Zhen Tong is a senior research software development engineer in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) at Microsoft.

He recived his Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in electrical engineering.

Before joining ASG, Zhen worked at Qualcomm as an embedded-software engineer on modem architecture and performance, and at Samsung Research America on camera-algorithm development and commercialization on Samsung flagship phones with a focus on features such as high dynamic range (HDR), super resolution (SR), night mode, etc.

In his free time, Zhen enjoys fishing and sand volleyball.
