Microsoft Lync Server 2010 New Features Overview

Microsoft Lync is a major release that delivers enhanced telephony features as well as greatly expands on the feature set across other modalities. Lync builds on the feature set in Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2. The major focus of Lync delivers the missing feature sets needed for the Enterprise Voice solution to satisfy Telephony RFPs (for example, E9-1-1, survivability, music on hold, call admission control, and so on).
