The Microsoft Driver for Node.JS for SQL Server is a Node.JS module that allows for the reading and writing of SQL Server data from within Node.JS applications.Supported Operating Systems
Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Windows Vista Service Pack 2
- Node.JS Runtime 0.6 or 0.8
- Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client available in the SQL Server 2012 Feature Pack.
- Any edition of SQL Server 2005 or later.
- Perform the following steps to download and install the Microsoft Driver for Node.JS for SQL Server:
- Download the installer for your Node.js version and architecture to a temporary directory
- Run the installer from the temporary directory
- When prompted, enter the path to an installation directory for the module's files e.g. c:\application\node_modules\msnodesql\
- Copy the newly-created module directory into your application's node_modules directory
