    As part of this release we have made improvements in the following areas: • Platform support for: o Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 SP1 o SQL Server 2014 or SQL Server 2012 SP1 o Visual Studio 2013 o .NET Framework 4.5 and .NET Framework 4.5.1 o Microsoft Office Excel 2013 and 2010 o SharePoint 2013 SP1 • Updates to Service Bus (SB) messaging adapters o SB Messaging adapter is enhanced to support SAS (Shared Access signature) based authentication, in addition to ACS. With this new improvement, BizTalk Server can now also interact with the on premise edition of Service • Updates to the SFTP adapter o SFTP adapter now supports two-factor authentication and provides an option to specify a temporary folder while uploading/downloading large files. You can also select the Encryption cipher value specific to your target server • Updates to the WCF-WebHttp adapter o WCF-WebHttp adapter now supports sending and receiving JSON messages. BizTalk Server also provides two new pipelines for processing JSON messages. An Encoder and Decoder component is also available for use in custom pipelines • Updates to HL7 Accelerator o Provides capability to include free-text data as part of the message that can be processed by the HL7 pipelines o 64-bit support for hosting HL7 adapter

      To run BizTalk Server 2013 R2 Evaluation Edition you need:
      • 32-bit (x86) platforms: Computer with an Intel Pentium-compatible CPU that is 1 GHz or faster for single processors; 900 MHz or faster for double processors; or 700 MHz or faster for quad processors

      • 64-bit (x64) platforms: Computer with a CPU that is compatible with the AMD64 and Extended Memory 64-bit Technology (EMT64T), 1.7 GHz or faster processor recommended for BizTalk Server 2013

      • 2 GB of RAM minimum (more recommended)

      • 10 GB of available hard-disk space

      • VGA monitor (1024 x 768) or higher-resolution monitor

      • Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device



      To use BizTalk Server 2013 R2 Evaluation Edition you need the following software:
      • Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2

      • SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014

      • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5

      • Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 [Required for selected features only]

      • Internet Information Services (IIS) Version 7.5 and 7.0 [Required for selected features only]

    • Click the Download button to download the file.

    • Run the downloaded .EXE from your hard drive and choose the directory from which to install the downloaded product.

    • From the directory where you extracted your files, run Setup.exe and follow the instructions to complete the installation.
