Your music. Your rules. Tunetastic is a modern, native Windows open-source music player built with WinUI 3, bringing Windows 11's design language — Mica, ...Acrylic, fluid animations, and rounded corners — to both Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Uses less than 150MB of RAM in regular use. Source Code available under the About section in the app.
Plays almost anything. MP3, FLAC, AAC, OGG, WAV, WMA, OPUS, ALAC, and more — Tunetastic supports a wide range of audio formats and codecs out of the box, so your entire library just works, no matter where it came from.
Your local library is beautifully organized. Browse by song, artist, album, genre, or year. Smart playlists like Recently Added, Recently Played, and Most Played keep your favorites effortlessly surfaced. Build your own playlists, bulk-add entire albums or genres in one tap, and rename or remove them anytime.
The main player is an immersive full-screen experience with dynamic blurred album art, a progress bar you can scrub, shuffle, repeat, and crossfade. Quick search across your entire library — by title, artist, album, genre, or year — is always just a keystroke away.
Tunetastic integrates deeply with Windows: control playback from the media flyout, lock screen, keyboard media keys, or Bluetooth devices via full SMTC support. Live track progress appears right on the taskbar icon. Minimize to the system tray and control playback without ever switching windows.
Customize everything — theme (Light, Dark, or System), backdrop material (Mica, Acrylic, Transparent, and more), blur intensity, accent color, and an animated rainbow border. Tunetastic grows with your taste.
Requires .NET Desktop Runtime (installed automatically if not present)
