Dražen Šumić is the new director of the Microsoft Development Center in Serbia

Dražen Šumić is the new director of the Microsoft Development Center in Serbia.

As the director of the Microsoft Development Center in Serbia (MDCS), Dražen Šumić, with the status of Microsoft Partner, will be responsible for the further strategic development of the center in Belgrade, which has long established its reputation within the global company and is considered one of the most important development centers in Europe. MDCS creates the most innovative services of the global company, used by millions of people worldwide, such as cloud services and the development of generative artificial intelligence.

"Thanks to the work we have all put in together, MDCS is significantly different from what it was in 2011 when I joined the team. We now have over 600 engineers, and our center is responsible for some of the key Microsoft services. I would like to thank my predecessor, Dragan Tomić, for his successful leadership so far, from whom I have personally learned a lot. MDCS is a development center with a complete software product development process, as well as working with users to adopt them. Our core strength has not changed, and I believe it never will: unity and the desire to be the best," emphasized Dražen.
