Leverage the capabilities of Grounding with Bing Search and Grounding with Bing Custom Search (including through the Web Search Tool or Web Knowledge Source) to provide your model with the latest information, ensuring the most accurate and relevant responses to your queries.

Grounding with Bing Search Plan
This plan allows you to enable Grounding with Bing Search as a resource or tool in Azure AI Foundry or as Web Knowledge Source, a knowledge source in Azure AI Search and Foundry Knowledge. It adds intelligent search results to your AI solution, expanding the capabilities of AI models with relevant and up-to-date information. It combines the power of billions of publicly available web pages to provide real-time results for the agents to craft the desired output.
This plan can only be used for Azure AI Foundry or as Web Knowledge Source, a knowledge source in Azure AI Search and Foundry Knowledge. By enabling this plan, agents can search the web for the required information to fulfill the user query. The final output includes the model result grounded with Bing data, citing the pertinent publishers.
Custom Search Plan
This plan allows you to enable Grounding with Bing Custom Search as a resource or tool in Azure AI Foundry or as Web Knowledge Source, a knowledge source in Azure AI Search and Foundry Knowledge. It adds intelligent search results from a limited search space to your AI solution, expanding the capabilities of AI models with relevant and up-to-date information. It allows you to select the subset of publicly available web pages to provide real-time results for the agents and craft the desired output.
This plan can only be used for Azure AI Foundry or Web Knowledge Source, a knowledge source in Azure AI Search and Foundry Knowledge. By enabling this plan, agents can search the specific web domains for the required information to fulfill the user query. The final output includes the model result grounded with Bing Search data, citing the pertinent publishers.
When the model reasoning determines it needs Grounding with Bing Search or Grounding with Bing Custom Search, the tool is invoked, and the result includes that data coming from Bing. The model uses that information to craft the final output, which includes citations to the sites that have been consulted and the link of the Bing search query (only for Grounding with Bing Search) that was performed. These references must be shown to the end customer as per our Use and Display Requirements.
When Grounding with Bing Search or Grounding with Bing Custom Search is activated within Azure AI Foundry, you will be charged for the grounding transactions made to return summarized results from Bing.
