The Skype for Business, SDN (Software-Defined Networking) Interface allows developers to build applications and services that can monitor, isolate and correct issues on the network that affect Skype for Business quality of experience. The installer application also provides customers with the ability to interface with qualified 3rd party applications built on the Skype for Business, SDN API.

    The following requirements must be met for using Skype for Business, SDN Interface:
    • Valid licenses for Skype for Business Server 2019, Skype for Business Server 2015, Lync Server 2010 or Lync Server 2013 are required
    • Supported operating systems are the same supported operating systems for Skype for Business Server 2015, Lync Server 2010 and Lync Server 2013
    • .NET 4.5 or higher for the Skype for Business, Dialog Listener.
    • .NET 4.5 or higher for the Skype for Business, SDN Manager
