    The Exchange Connector connects Service Manager to Exchange Server for processing incoming emails related to work items. Once the Exchange Connector has been configured to monitor Exchange mailboxes, you can use it to create and update work items based on templates specified by the administrator. By specifying special keywords to look for in the incoming emails, you can configure the Exchange Connector to perform actions like approving or rejecting review activities or enable activity implementers to mark activities assigned to them as completed.

    System Center Service Manager Connector 4.1 for Exchange contains fixes for various issues which were reported in previous versions.

    List of Features & issues which are now fixed -
    • Whenever a Manual activity task is completed, Exchange Connector will update the closing time to the current time of closing, which was not set earlier.
    • With this fix, when a customer sends a request to close an incident which is already closed, the incident will remain closed which was not happening earlier.
    • This release contains all the previous fixes and adds support to OAuth 2.0 based authentication for EWS to connect to Exchange Online.
    • Added support for OAuth in GCC tenants.
