The Azure Storage Mover agent is a Linux appliance in the form of a VM image for Windows Hyper-V and VMware hypervisors.

Recommended, minimal virtual machine configuration:
- virtual CPUs: 4
- RAM: 8 GB
- Disk Space: 20GB
VM resource requirements increase with the scale of a migration. Refer to the agent deployment guide for more details. This agent image is currently supported for running on a Windows Hyper-V and VMWare ESXi 6.7 hypervisor.- Download and unpack the agent package.
- Create a new VM from the unpacked VM disk image.
