• Windows 11 Professional (build 22000 or later)
• Windows Server (build 17763 or later)
Note: Hyper-V must be enabled to support AKS Edge virtual machines.

Memory
• 4GB Minimum Physical Memory- 2GB Minimum Free Memory (Cluster-Only)
• 8GB Minimum Physical Memory - 4GB Minimum Free Memory (Arc and GitOps)
Note: Your deployment may require aditional free memory depending on the the size of the virtual machine that you choose during installation.

Storage
• 17GB Minimum Free Storage

Additional Requirements
• If you are using a local VM, your hardware must be capable of supporting nested virtualization.
• If you are using an Azure VM, you must use a compute unit that is capable of hyper-threading and nested virtualization
