    This white paper describes how to use a Cisco 3925 ISR G2 configured with a SRE-900 Service Module (Cisco Service Ready Engine Virtualization (SRE-V) support platform) to be deployed as a Survivable Branch Appliance (SBA) in a Microsoft Lync Server 2010 environment. In this configuration, Lync Server exists on a virtual installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 that is hosted on VMware ESXi. This white paper also includes instructions about how to install the SBA software, configure the device, and integrate it into your Lync Server deployment.
