    Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1 PowerPivot for SharePoint 2013 extends SharePoint Server 2013 to add server-side data refresh processing, collaboration, and management support for Excel workbooks with advanced data models to SharePoint. This package is only available in a 64-bit version.

    Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012, Windows Vista Service Pack 2

  • To install and use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1 PowerPivot for Microsoft SharePoint, complete the following steps in this order:

    1. Run SpPowerPivot.msi.
    2. Click Next on the Welcome page.
    3. Review and accept the license agreement, then click Next.
    4. On the Feature Selection page, all of the features are selected by default.
    5. Click Next.
    6. Click Install to install to finish the installation.
