This calculator can be used to plan for resources while planning a SC 2016 DPM deployment which uses MBS, that is, is deployed on Windows Server 2016. It may also be used to plan for resources while upgrading from DPM 2012 R2 to DPM 2016. In that case, the Capacity Planner will allow you to calculate the resources consumed for Data sources stored using Modern Backup Storage.
