- The computer must have the following installed: Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013.
- To install and use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP4 PowerPivot for Microsoft SharePoint, complete the following steps in this order:
- Run SpPowerPivot.msi.
- Click Next on the Welcome page.
- Review and accept the license agreement, then click Next.
- On the Feature Selection page, all of the features are selected by default.
- Click Next.
- Click Install to install to finish the installation. For more information on installation, see, Install or Uninstall the PowerPivot for SharePoint Add-in.
