    Azure AD SSO plugin for Confluence supports Confluence Server versions 5.0 - 5.10 or 6.0.1 to 6.15.9, 7.0.1 to 7.20.1 and 7.20.3, 8.0.3 to 8.8.0 version. Use your Microsoft Azure Active Directory account with Atlassian Confluence server to enable single sign-on. This way all your organization users can use the Azure AD credentials to login into the Confluence application. This plugin uses SAML 2.0 for federation.

    Features added :
    • "Force Login" functionality allows the IT admins to force the Azure AD authentication to users. This way users will not see the username and password box and they will be forced to use SSO.
    • "Force Login" is configurable from the plugin.
    • You can pass the domain string to Azure AD so that Azure AD can directly redirect the user to your Federation server. This is only applicable if you are using the Federated domains with Azure AD.
    • Application Proxy Support - Checkbox on the configure plugin screen to toggle the App Proxy mode so as to make the Reply URL editable as per the need to point it to the proxy server URL.
    • Added support for confluence 8.0.3 to 8.5 version build.

    Supported Operating System Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012. Confluence Server 5.0 - 5.10 or 6.0.1 to 6.15.9, 7.0.1 to 7.20.1 and 7.20.3, 8.0.3 to 8.8.0 should be installed and configured on Windows 64-bit version
  • Following are the installation requirements for this plugin.
    • Confluence should be installed on a Windows 64-bit version.
    • Confluence version should be HTTPS enabled.
    • Note the supported version for Plugin in “Supported Versions” section below.
    • Confluence server should be reachable on internet.
    • Admin credentials for Confluence server.
    • Global admin credentials for Azure AD.
    • WebSudo should be disabled in Confluence.
    Supported Versions:
    • Confluence Server 5.0 to 5.10.
    • Confluence Server 6.0.1 to 6.15.9, 7.0.1 to 7.20.1 and 7.20.3 to 8.8.0
