      HPC Pack 2016 Update 3 delivers tools, performance and scalability for a highly productive HPC environment for on-premises, hybrid and cloud, providing an integrated cluster environment featuring the HPC Job Scheduler, Message Passing Interface v2 (MPI2) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) interactive application support, cluster management & monitoring tools.

      You can download and install HPC Pack 2016 Update 3 in your on-premises computers, or you can just use the deployment templates to create a cluster on Azure with HPC Pack 2016 Update 3.

    • HPCPack2016Update3-Full-v6435.zip Download this .zip file for a full installation package to set up an HPC Pack 2016 Update 3 cluster. If you install this package on an existing HPC Pack node, please uninstall existing HPC Pack 2016 components first.

    • HPCPack2016Update3-Full-Refresh-v6450.zip Download this .zip file for a full installation package to set up an HPC Pack 2016 Update 3 cluster with latest QFE version 5.3.6450.

    • HPCPack2016Update3-Patch.zip Download this patch to upgrade your exisiting HPC Pack 2016 Update 1 or Update 2 head nodes, Windows and Linux compute nodes, broker nodes, client computers, workstation nodes, and unmanaged server nodes. Please install the appropriate updater for the CPU architecture on computers that have already had HPC Pack 2016 Update 1 or Update 2 components installed.

    • Prior to installation, please review 'What's New in Microsoft HPC Pack 2016 update 3' and 'Release Notes for Microsoft HPC Pack 2016 update 3' available on the Microsoft HPC Pack Doc site.

  • Download the archive, unlock the file, extract the contents to the root of your drive and run 'setup.exe' to start the HPC Pack installation wizard on a supported Windows Server based computer.
