Imagine having a controller that worked for years😢
I have 2 controllers with the same problem which the left stick broke after about 30 days of use, so I've always had a broken controller basically, and we should be given the option to purchase an elite controller with an xbox one. Also everybody knows the prices need to come down, $30 is maybe fair 😆 seriously though.

Cheaply made and overpriced
I got this controller with the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition and it wouldn't work with my play and charge kit. I had to pay for shipping on the warranty repair. The controller I got back has had the same issue at times. I also had two previous controllers from the 2013 launch console that broke after a year of use. great design, terrible build quality! Also very overpriced at $50 to $60.

This controller sucks!
I bought this controller because my old one was having issues and when I used it for the first time the first thing I noticed was that it didn't have an audio jack on it like my other one and the bumpers were really hard to press. Within a week of having it I was no longer able to even turn the thing on and now I had to go back to using my old one that is very unresponsive. These controllers suck and I have never been this disappointed in Microsoft before and I have been playing Xbox for about 6 years now so I know their products aren't usually this bad.

Fix the lb
So I've been seeing a lot of bad reviews from the left bumper just falling off , I've had the same problem I need a new controller now for that very reason. I've had my Xbox for 4 years about and in that time my left bumper fell off twice like a loose tooth no force just came right out I've played Xbox 360 for 3 years prior one the only issue I had with the controller was the sticks getting stuck I just preordered borderlands 3 and cannot afford a new 60$ controller just to have it break a few years later I'm glad it's on sale for now but if anyone is loyal enough to buy a replacement controller I think 60$ is just a bit too much I do like the free shipping and for the time it's not broken this is the way to go

I bought a brand new 60$ controller for Xbox. Horrible
I bought a new microsoft controller for Xbox one and 31 days of using the controller the left joystick broke, like the bar the joystick sits on broke. I have my original controller that the system came with and it worked great for 2 years then the rb button broke on me. Hence buying a new controller. Which was the worst idea I could of done. The new controllers they make are so cheaply made!. They use cheap parts to build the controllers and raise the prices of them every year so they get richer. Thanks microsoft for making the new controller so crappy I'm forced to use my original controller limiting my gameplay. Awesome!! I have a ps1 controller for 13 years and it works still flawlessly. Thinking about just selling everything I have that's Microsoft and buying a ps4. We should all speak up if Microsoft has robbed us all of our time and money. Until we stop buying these cheap products they will keep making them. #🖕 Microsoft

Do NOT buy!
These things are so cheaply made, every one I've had has had serious issues. Quality control on these is non existent. I've gone through 3 of them and I'm never going to buy another Microsoft branded peripheral again. Twice I've had brand new controllers that have sticks that won't center. Now I have one that refuses to connect to the PC wireless adapter. I've tried everything. I hate these things. Do not buy one of these to use with your PC, they're garbage. You're better off with a cheap Chinese controller than one of these.

DO NOT BUY!
Do not buy this controller they go bad less than 30 days after there 90 day "guarantee" expires. Then Microsoft support basically tells you Sucks to be you. I was buying a New Xbox one this week but money will be spent better somewhere else with a company that does not sell garbage.

Fixing something that wasn't broken
I bought this updated Xbox One controller about four months ago. It isn't very different from the original controller released for the Xbone, but the minor changes that were made are fantastic. Microsoft definitely improved on an already great controller. I am very happy with this item. Haven't had any issues with the controller breaking, such as in the other reviews. The only thing I wish is that it came with a rechargeable battery.

I can't understand all the negative reviews tbh. Bought mine from the online store, it was here a day before they said to expect it. Worked and is working perfectly. Using it with my gaming laptop with nary a hassle. Paired easy as pie via Bluetooth and by wire. Quick , responsive and a joy to use. The ONLY thing I have to say even halfway negative about it concerns the warranty. Not even about the actual warranty either but about signing up for it. There is nowhere either in the documentation or online (that I could find anyway) that tells you the warranty date is automatic when you first pair/use it. Microsoft could explain that somewhere in my opinion. A (very) quick call to support cleared it up though. A word about my support experience …. it was excellent. Friendly and explained to me in a very understanding manner. I just wish that I could have "rated" the support man who made my call ….. enjoyable lol. When is the last time you said THAT about a support call? Kudos Microsoft!
