John Weiss creates prototype applications for novel hardware and human-computer interactions. He has a passion for creating amazing and practical user experiences.
John’s research interests include touch and gestural interfaces, computer graphics, augmented reality, and procedurally generated 3D environments.
John has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from Texas State University and he is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
Before joining Applied Sciences, John worked on the much larger version of Microsoft Surface. He has also worked on educational software, project management software, and developer tools.
John escapes to the mountains whenever possible to snowboard, mountain bike, and backpack.
