Eligibility and redemption
Offer is valid only for verified college students physically located in the United States at time of qualifying PC purchase. Verified college or university students (collectively, “college students”) who are new subscribers are eligible for a free 12-month Microsoft 365 Premium subscription (ARV: $199.99), a free 12-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription (ARV: $359.88), and a free Xbox Design Lab Wireless Controller (ARV: $79.99), whose colors may be customized (subject to availability). Other customizations available at additional cost. If custom color controllers are no longer available, Microsoft will provide an Xbox Wireless Controller in a preset color ($49.06 with discount; ARV: $64.99) instead.
Verification requires purchase of an eligible PC, available while supplies last. A list of eligible PCs is available here. Subscription eligibility and auto-renewal terms
Redemption must be completed by 11:59pm Pacific Time on July 31, 2026. A Microsoft account (“MSA”) is required to redeem each subscription. Microsoft 365 Premium is only available to verified college students who are new Microsoft 365 Premium subscribers and to existing Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscribers who upgrade their existing subscription and all remaining time to Microsoft 365 Premium. See Switch between Microsoft 365 subscriptions. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is only available to new Xbox Game Pass subscribers. See Xbox Subscriptions Terms & Conditions. If Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is activated prior to college student verification, you must complete verification within 5 days of such activation or the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will be deactivated.
A valid payment method is required to redeem the subscriptions. After 12 months, you’ll continue to be charged the applicable monthly subscription fee unless you cancel. See Microsoft Store Terms of Sale. You may cancel by visiting account.microsoft.com/services.
Controller fulfillment
Controllers ship to U.S. addresses only. The Xbox Wireless Controller will be shipped to the U.S. address provided during the redemption process. PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and some U.S. territories (Guam and Northern Mariana Islands) are not eligible. Microsoft contracts with ESW for Xbox Design Lab order fulfillment and the applicable terms for such fulfillment are available at checkout and here.
PC returns and exchanges
Returns of eligible PCs are subject to retailers’ terms of sale. Microsoft reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue this offer at any time, and to disqualify any redemption of a subscription and/or Xbox Wireless Controller, that Microsoft determines, in its sole discretion, to be fraudulent, incomplete, invalid or in violation of these Offer Terms.
Additional terms and restrictions
Except as otherwise provided in these Offer Terms, offer may not be combined with other offers or promotional subscriptions and cannot be transferred or otherwise redeemed for cash or promo code(s). Limited to one eligible PC per verified college student and Microsoft account.
