Kentucky Community and Technical College System Kentucky Technical College System improves productivity with Office Communications Server

With 16 colleges on 67 sites around the commonwealth of Kentucky, the Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS) needed a communications solution that could support its hardware and improve productivity for its faculty and staff, including 3,000 active users and more than 6,000 accounts. Through a deployment of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, KCTCS has not only increased employee productivity but also enhanced collaboration between itself and other educational institutions across the commonwealth, including the University of Kentucky. As a bonus, KCTCS is also using its overall IT resources more efficiently.
