Minh Bui is a 2022 research intern in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) at Microsoft, where he works on low-latency deep noise suppression and acoustic echo cancellation.  Before joining ASG as an intern, he was a part-time student researcher in the same group.

He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering at Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.  His interests include sparsity in machine learning, model efficiency, and signal processing.  Before his graduate studies, he obtained his B.Sc. in computer science from the University of Science, Vietnam.  He was born in a very peaceful suburban area in Southeast Vietnam.

In his spare time, Minh loves exploring new licks on his guitar.
