Nikola Pejic is a software engineer in the Applied Sciences Group (ASG) at Microsoft Development Center Serbia (MDCS).

Before joining ASG, he was part of the Azure Data team where he worked on SQL Server and Synapse SQL Serverless, and the Mixed Reality team, both at MDCS.

Nikola completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. studies at the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. there.  The Ph.D. focuses on extracting insights from pull requests and utilizing them to automate actions and improve the developer experience.

In his free time, Nikola likes to play games and work on his passion projects.
