Zhicheng Geng is a 2021 research intern in Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group (ASG), where he also interned in 2020.  His research interests include deep learning, computer vision, high-performance computation, and their applications in geophysical problems.  He has also interned at PGS in 2018 and at ConocoPhillips in 2019.

He is a fourth-year Ph.D. student majoring in geophysics at the University of Texas at Austin, working with Dr. Sergey Fomel.  He earned his B.Sc. degree in geophysics from Tongji University in China.
