When setting up your video and audio before joining a Teams meeting, select background effects. Here you can choose to blur your background, select from a list of images, or upload your own image.

Background effects are currently available for PC and Mac client applications. Teams also supports background blur on iOS devices.1

For the best experience with custom backgrounds, we recommend uploading images with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a resolution of at least 1920 x 1080 if possible. The higher the resolution, the better your images will appear.
