- Does Enterprise Mobility Suite have a new name?
Yes. Enterprise Mobility Suite is now called Enterprise Mobility + Security E3, with no change for existing EMS customers.
- What are the available EMS offering?
We now have two EMS offerings:
- Enterprise Mobility + Security E3 (previously called Enterprise Mobility Suite) includes Azure Active Directory Premium P1, Microsoft Intune, Azure Information Protection P1, Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics and the Windows Server CAL rights— just as Enterprise Mobility Suite has in the past.
- Enterprise Mobility + Security E5 is our latest offering and includes all of the capabilities of EMS E3 plus new capabilities that were previously available standalone (Microsoft Cloud App Security) or in preview (Azure Active Directory Identity Protection & Privileged Identity Management, and Azure Information Protection).
- What changes have been made to Azure Active Directory?
Azure AD Premium is now called Azure AD Premium P1, with no change for existing customers. Azure AD Premium P2 includes all the capabilities in Azure AD Premium P1 as well as the new Identity Protection and Privileged Identity Management capabilities.
- What changes have been made to Azure Rights Management?
Azure Rights Management Premium is now called Azure Information Protection Premium P1 with no change for existing Azure RMS customers. The P2 offer adds automatic classification, on top of the manual classification, labeling and everything else included in P1.
- Are there any other changes in terms of licensing?
Yes, Microsoft Intune, part of both EMS E3 and E5, can now be installed on 15 devices per user subscriber license.
