The Management Pack for Forefront Protection 2010 for SharePoint (FPSP) allows you to discover FPSP installations and components and to monitor them within System Center Operations Manager 2007 and 2007 R2. When there is an issue that may impact the availability, configuration, or security of your FPSP deployment, Operations Manager uses the management pack to detect the issue, alert you to its existence, and facilitate diagnosis and corrective actions.

Notes: If you have installed a previous version of the Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server management pack, you must upgrade that management pack to version 11.1.0301.0 or later before installing this management pack.
- Download the management pack installer from this page.
- On the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager server, click on the executable to extract two .mp files
- Click Start, point to All Programs, point to System Center Operations Manager 2007, and then click Operations Console.
- In the Operations Manager console, click the Administration button.
- Right-click the Management Packs node and select Import Management Packs, or click Import Management Packs in the Actions pane.
- In the Select Management Packs to Import dialog box, navigate to the location of the files.
- Select these two .mp files that were extracted in step 2, and then click Open.
- In the Import Management Packs dialog box, click Import to import the management packs.
- After the management pack has been imported, the Status changes to "Imported". Click Close to continue.
