During Computer Science Education Week, millions of students around the world will participate in Hour of Code. They’ll learn the fundamentals of coding and how much fun it is to create.

Through one of the world’s largest live connections of students at one time, Skype-a-Thon participants from 102 countries traveled a total of 23 million virtual miles in the span of two days.

Calling all classrooms with up-and-coming coders and app makers-to-be: Computer Science Education Week is happening on December 3 – 9 this year.

Skype-a-Thon is coming soon! On November 13th and 14th, classrooms across the world will be breaking down their walls and connecting students with peers from various countries and cultures, as well as experts in various fields.

If you want to give your students something they can’t wait to go home and share around the dinner table, and keeps them interested and curious for days, participate in Skype-a-Thon.

The countdown to this year’s Skype-a-Thon has begun. Nearly half a million students and teachers around the world are getting ready to connect beyond their classrooms via Skype to travel 14 million virtual miles.

Cyberbullying is a widespread issue among teens. According to the Cyberbullying Research Center, more than one in three teens have been cyberbullied.

In celebration of the 48-hr Skype-a-Thon event beginning on November 13, our 22 educators and experts are going the extra (virtual) mile and preparing a new #MSFTEduChat TweetMeet on Global Collaboration.
