New F5 Security and Compliance offer for Frontline Workers

February 1, 2021

Today, Microsoft is releasing three new security and compliance offers for Frontline Workers, that can be purchased as add-ons to the Microsoft 365 F1 and F3 SKUs.

Security and compliance are top of mind for many organizations that have accelerated digital empowerment of their Frontline Workforce. We're excited to provide these capabilities programmatically, at a competitive, low price tailored for the needs of our Frontline Workers customers.

All offers are available starting February 1, 2021:

  • Microsoft 365 F5 Security: This offer will cost $8 per user per month.
  • Microsoft 365 F5 Compliance: This offer will cost $8 per user per month.
  • Microsoft 365 F5 Security & Compliance: This offer will cost $13 per user per month.

These add-ons offer the majority of capabilities as the Microsoft 365 E5 security and compliance* offerings, but at a competitive low price tailored to the needs of our Firstline Worker customers.

*The F5 security SKU includes the same capabilities as the E5 security offer. The F5 compliance SKU includes the same compliance features offered in the current promo, with additional E5 compliance features available starting March 3, 2021.

Timeline for the new Security and Compliance offer

The new F5 add-on offers will be available starting February 1, 2021.

These F5 programmatic offers will replace the current Security and Compliance promotion, which is expiring on February 28, 2021. The F5 add-ons eliminate the previous promotion requirement to purchase Microsoft 365 E5 for information workers, and offers greater flexibility and predictability as your Frontline Workforce grows.

Giving Frontline Workers the tools they need requires organizations to address their unique user experience, security and compliance, and IT management. This is another step toward making adoption of technology for Frontline Workers more seamless and secure, so that every organization can achieve more.
