Back at 62 Truck, the presence of a new female firefighter is jeopardizing the crew’s camaraderie, while Chief Reilly juggles caring for an ailing wife with his own gambling problem, and Lou wrestles with the fallout from a divorce. Friendships are strained as Franco faces the twin demands of unexpected fatherhood and a drug problem stemming from an accident he blames on Tommy. Yet, even the revelation of some long-held family secrets pales next to the crisis the Gavins face after a hit-and-run fatality threatens to push Tommy over the edge.
