Intravision XR is a full-scale application that allows the creation and viewing of 3D models from most standard DICOM formats. Physicians use Intravision XR for the purposes of surgical preplanning and post-analysis, and for patient education. The full application is available in two parts. 3D Model creation and viewing from the Azure Web portal. 3D Model viewing and manipulation in Augmented/Mixed Reality through a headset. Using Intravision XR, the HoloLens can be used to fully immerse the user in experiencing detailed, anatomically correct 3D Models. Immersion is enhanced through control of scale, movement, rotation, and the use of a cutting plane to encourage full interaction with the models. Once installed, there are 2 modes of operation for this application: <<< Offline Mode >>> Only needs the first-time login to Demo account and save models in the cache. No need for an internet connection to use this mode once kept in the cache. All content has been anonymized <<< Online Mode >>> View models which reside on DICOM Director’s server Requires an active subscription account from DICOM Director (found at https://www.dicomdirector.com/ ) Requires internet connection <<< Collaboration Mode >>> Collaborate with other users on your network in a shared environment. All users can view the same model, view each other's position and orientation. Load and place markers for pointing out areas of interest.
