Trent is on the run from two merciless hitmen, ready to kill him on sight. To escape, he brings his unsuspecting girlfriend on the run hiding in cheap motels and criss-crossing backroads.  Along the way they stumble upon Ben, a drifter who might offer his only chance to live.
