Based on Hideaki Sorachi's manga and the TV series, Gintama the Movie follows the mishaps and (mis)adventures of Gin and his two interns. Living in Tokyo, which has been colonized by aliens, Gin tries to salvage the remnants of Japanese culture and keep the peace with the extraterrestrial colonizers.
